If anyone has the urge to make a small quilt or two (9" x 12") to donate to the Alzheimers Quilt Initiative, that would be wonderful. It's a great way to experiment with a technique without committing to a whole big quilt. The subject of the quilt can be anything. Every month they are auctioned off, and Ami Simms takes 1000 of them to the Houston show and sells them outright.
